HR Data Analytics Specialist

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the segment operational support of the Mars Snacking standard HR processes. This role partners the Global & Regional P&O Leads and Talent/EI&D BP Leads to provide global talent, I&D, Leadership Development Programs analytics, insights, summaries and actions to enable our growth strategies and priorities.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree (business, HR, or related) - or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in Data analytics and reporting
  • A self-starter who is comfortable both working independently with high attention to detail as well as driving collaboration amongst diverse peers.
  • Data Analytical skills and thinking: Enjoys and skilled in combining automated and manual data sources, turning data into trends and communicating insights. Expert in Excel and Powerpoint. Some experience in predictive analytics would be an advantage.
  • Curiosity to investigate hypotheses, make sense of the organisational context, bring external insight and make recommendations.
  • Able to operate and adapt to multiple and evolving priorities in a dynamic, matrixed environment
  • Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Drives value adding solutions - Understands how to leverage short and longer term talent management practices and systems to drive business value, in partnership with HR leaders

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Data Management, Analytics, Insights and Communication: Gather, manage and interpret data from various sources to provide relevant talent and I&D trends, analysis and insights to feed Mars snacking people strategies and scorecards, talent priorities, stakeholder communications, and business reviews. This includes intelligence to inform succession planning, leadership development, periodic headcount reports, I&D reports.
  • Talent/I&D Partner: Partner with the regional Talent/EI&D BP leads to prepare proactively for business reviews, Segment MDRs and coordinate and drive agreed actions.
  • Talent Specialist: Work with the Mars Inc. Talent, I&D and Mars U CoEs and Senior Talent Specialists leads on agreed initiatives to support and improve people data accuracy and automation, process improvement, training, implementation, and other best practices.
  • Initiatives: Run agreed talent Mars U, I&D, and data analytics projects and initiatives to accelerate the Segment talent and I&D strategy
