Remote - EST/CST Time Zones

The eCommerce Category Specialist will work in collaboration with the National Sales Manager to oversee and optimize our e-commerce operations across all partner platforms, eCommerce is the fastest-growing channel for Mars Horsecare and this role will be responsible for driving profitable sales with eCommerce customers, delivering a strong customer partnership, delivering category growth plans, digital activations and excellence in execution across the BUCKEYE™ Nutrition brand. The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of the eCommerce landscape with strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of success.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and technologies
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with a bias to action
  • Proficient in reporting and analyzing data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Excellent customer management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of omni channel landscape relevant to the industry

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Platform Management: Oversee and manage eCommerce operations along with the NSM on all partner platforms, ensuring seamless integration, product listings, pricing, inventory, and order fulfillment.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share on all eCommerce platforms. Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and implement optimizations to maximize revenue.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build effective business relationships with customer cross functions- buyers, category, retail marketing, supply and likewise with internal stakeholders at Mars Horsecare to drive sustainable mutual growth with customers.
  • Market Analysis: Ability to identify trends, to create opportunities, and diagnose areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • New Opportunities: Explore and develop new eCommerce opportunities, including new platforms, marketplaces, and digital channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve eCommerce business objectives.

Total rewards at Mars includes base pay, competitive benefits, and annual bonus (if position is eligible). The full-time pay range for this role is:
USD 59,170.00 - USD 88,755.00
