Customer Marketing Manager - North America

Job Description:

The Customer Marketing Manager North America is responsible for helping Mars Food and Nutrition achieve its operating plan by co-developing our go-to-market plans with the sales, marketing, and supply chain functions, and supporting the execution of those plans by our sales team. They support the annual Joint Business Planning cycle and support the sales team in selling and executing the resulting plans. This role is responsible for developing sales tools, resources, and communications that can be utilized across North Ame5ican customers through customizing our item portfolio for key customers and channels.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business field or related area of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in field sales, internal sales, or customer marketing.
  • Experience working directly with major US retailers
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects from start to execution
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time while in role.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop tools and communications to support the execution and tracking of go-to-market plans focused on cross-category innovation in assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving.
  • Bring company and category strategies to life in the marketplace via strong working relationships with sales teams, marketing, and critical customers and represent the voice of customer/sales internally across stakeholders.
  • Assist in the planning, development, and presentation of sales & brand materials at key Customer Collaboration Planning sessions, ensuring our sales strategies and brand initiatives are well represented.
  • Influence future innovation pipelines & programs based on channel insights.
  • Provide key analysis in facilitating new item distribution forecasts by channel/customer.
  • Help facilitate the annual cross-functional Joint Business Planning process.
  • Create, lead, or contribute to special projects.
