The Role

We are seeking a talented SDET with strong programming skills to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our software automation tests, tools, and framework. This role is crucial to ensuring the reliability and testability of our software suite. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality, experienced in automation, approach automation-tests with a software developer mindset, and capable of collaborating across development, QA, Product, and support teams.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Protractor, Playwright, and existing test automation frameworks and simulators
  • Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to enhance system testability and enable continuous testing
  • Set up, manage, and maintain regression testing environments
  • Contribute to improving the overall software quality strategy and processes
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation test infrastructure

What We’re Looking for  

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development,  test automation, and system testing
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining automation tools, simulators, and frameworks
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Protractor or similar scripting languages for test automation
  • Experience working with REST APIs and validating responses using automation tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems
  • Proficient in Unix/Linux environments and command-line tools
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Ideally, this person would have

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language - TypeScript, Python, Java are good options.
  • Experience reading and debugging Java applications; knowledge of JUnit or similar test frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $140,00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
