Location

This role is based out of our Dublin Office. We love our office and the setting it provides for celebration and collaboration. But we also appreciate the opportunity to work remotely can energize you too, so we do offer flexible arrangements!

What you'll do

The Supply Planner is accountable for the efficient and effective execution of the Supply Planning process, including all materials ordering and balancing to allow for timely production. The Supply Planner will create, maintain, manage, and report on the 12-month supply, materials, and inventory availability plan on a weekly basis to ensure effective continuity of supply of all required finished goods.

Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and manage delivery performance versus the replenishment schedule, with root cause analysis.
  • Management and prioritization of shortages and plan change requests with Demand Planning.
  • Calculation of raw material (Liquid/s Dry Goods/Flavours) requirements to support long-term production plans.
  • Regular reconciliation of raw material inventory pre & postproduction and at month-end.
  • Master Data setup and maintenance of all raw material inventory items.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • MRP (Materials Requirement Planning)
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Manage sourcing of ingredients and dry goods packaging from a diverse range of international suppliers. Oversee purchase order management, receipt of stock balances, month-end reconciliations, and manual calculations to determine production requirements.
  • ERP System Management: Demonstrate expertise in managing MRP within ERP systems. Ideally, possess experience in process creation and optimization both within and outside of ERP environments.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track materials forward coverage. Identify obsolete risks and ensure adherence to KPIs to guarantee optimal availability for production.
  • NPD/Innovation Support: Collaborate with suppliers to gather requirements for new materials, including pricing and lead times. This information is critical for financial scenario planning and supporting the NPD/innovation pipeline.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee all international logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials to production sites. This includes managing customs clearance processes and tracking samples for feasibility production trials.
  • Production Scheduling and Tracking
  • Co-Manufacturer Collaboration: Partner with multiple international co-manufacturers, rather than relying on local in-house production, to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Production Scheduling: Convert demand forecasts and current finished goods inventory into actionable production schedules that adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet on-time, in-full (OTIF) customer requirements, utilizing both manual methods and ERP systems.
  • Performance Review: Facilitate regular weekly and monthly meetings with co-manufacturers to assess performance against agreed KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively escalate risks and issues, preparing mitigation plans to ensure swift resolution and maintain production continuity.

Own:

  • Planning and delivering optimal inventory levels for both raw material & finished goods.
  • Monitor market demand across various markets to ensure best possible availability, whilst balancing the cost of inventory capital, capacity constraints, and plant production efficiencies.

Influence:

  • Oversee all raw material procurement including ordering, inventory management, and reconciliation, as well as scheduling of production planning for brands in International markets outside North America.

Skills Needed To Be Successful:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive supply planning and raw materials procurement & management experience, preferably in the beer/wine/spirits industry or CPG industry.
  • Experience across key supply chain areas in supply planning.
  • Experience participating in innovation & new product introduction projects.
  • EXCEL
