As the Digital Solution Architect, WordPress & Shopify you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the architectural vision for our digital products. You will influence a team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional internal and external teams to design scalable, innovative, and customer-centric content management and eCommerce solutions.
What you will do:
- Provide technical leadership on 2 core technologies: WordPress and Shopify
- Provide expertise architecting websites on WP Engine and Shopify.
- Create new web sites based on these core technologies.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential for application in our digital products.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and platforms that support the development of effective digital products.

What you will bring:
- 8+ total years experience with at least 5+ years as an Architect
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications using WordPress CMS and related themes and plugins for 6+ years.
- Experience migrating from other CMS to WordPress
- Experience with WPEngine is preferred.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Proven experience as a Shopify Plus Developer with a portfolio of Shopify Plus projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred. Advanced degree desirable.
