Location

This is a remote position within the UK, with the expectation to work from our London office as and when required. Additionally, travel within the country may be necessary for customer visits.

What you'll do

As our new Category Manager you will be responsible for growing sales of White Claw & successfully launch NPD by utilizing category sales management drivers (distribution, range & display) with our customers resulting in greater than fair share presence in grocery retail. You will own the range, flavours, space, pack and position on shelves for our brands as well as the customer relationships with the customer category teams, helping shape commercial agenda through provision of relevant category insights.

Additional key responsibilities include:

  • Category Engagement across all UK trade partners in both on and off trade channels.
  • Translate market, retailer, consumer and shopper analysis into compelling insights to drive actionable recommendations across all category management levels.
  • Leadership and delivery of range review activities for key customers by consolidating sources of information and creating customer and category-centric proposals.
  • Growth in flavour range, space, SKU's, display across the UK grocery market.
  • Actively lead the category assumptions within the NPD process by setting accurate distribution and rate of sales targets to be included in P&L's.
  • Regular reporting for key business stakeholders; to include retailer reporting, category strategy scorecards, competitor reviews and range review evaluations.

What you'll bring

  • +5 years' experience working in category management or a similar role.
  • Experience of working in an analytical role, preferably within a FMCG company.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with UK retailers and their core data sets such as; Circana (IRI), Neilsen, Dunnhumby, Sales out, Kantar, etc.

  • You have a full clean driver's license.
