Scope:
March of is seeking a Sr. Manager, Donor Relations to be an integral part of a new Mid-level giving team at March of Dimes. The team will be responsible for cultivation and stewardship strategies for an identified cohort of high potential individual donors as well as future donors who have the potential to grow in their giving. The position works collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the March of Dimes mission and fundraising objectives are met.

The Sr. Manager, Donor Relations will be responsible for stewarding a tiered portfolio of approximately 600-700 mid-level donors who are giving $500-$9,999 on an annual cumulative basis, and have potential to increase their giving.
The position reports to the VP - Major, Principal, and Planned Giving.
Responsibilities:
- Program development: In tandem with the VP, develop and execute the mid-level giving program based on best practices, with a focus on donor retention, growth, and moving donors to major gifts pipelines as appropriate. Evaluate progress and results frequently and adjust portfolio as needed.
- Portfolio management: Develop and executes a stewardship plan for all assigned donors. Engage donors through consistent communication, cultivation, and stewardship, to increase donor support, achieve revenue goals, and enhance the donor experience. Ensure donors receive a touch point at least every 60 days, if not more frequently
- Donor stewardship: Utilize current materials such as newsletters, website, reports, and other assets, to create personalized touch points for donors based on their interests and giving. Execute planned touch points using multiple communications channels, including phone, email, handwritten notes, and personal mail. Determine which donors would benefit from more personalization and increased frequency of contact.
- Prompt thanking: Personally thank donors in portfolio and donors who give $250+ gifts through the Direct Response channel within 48 hours. Determine if $250+ donors would benefit from a relationship with mid-level or major gift officers based on research, conversation and response.
- Constituent services: Respond to mid-level donor requests for information and demonstrate exemplary customer service.
- CRM and data management: Keeps current, accurate, and timely donor engagement and communication records in CRM (ROI Solutions), including updating or correcting inaccurate or missing data as needed.
- Other: Handle other duties as assigned.

Knowledge (Minimum Requirements):
- A strong passion for March of Dimes mission and drive to create awareness and grow funding pathways through mid-level giving and major gifts.
- At least 3-5 years of prior experience in events, volunteer management, customer service, donor relations, fundraising, or related experience in fields such as sales, business development, and or marketing.
- The ability to understand the principles of philanthropy.
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or public relations.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and all MS Office products.
