Our client, a leader in the engineering and technical services industry, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for modifications.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and procedures.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting heavy loads.
  • Strong judgment skills based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with a sophisticated math ability to perform complex calculations.
