Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their team. As an Aerospace Systems Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Aerospace Systems Engineer
Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Range: $63-73/hr DOE plus benefits
What's the Job?
- Execute technical tasks related to new product development and customer missionization, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage technical risks to ensure project success and continuity throughout the development process.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple functions to deliver high-quality solutions that meet established deadlines and stay within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer flow-down requirements and develop robust technical solutions, including strategizing for testing and architecture design.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team members throughout all phases of product development.

What's Needed?
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Engineering degree.
- 10+ years of experience in all aspects of the systems engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification and validation testing.
- Advanced background in DO-178 and DO-254 certification standards.
- Experience in using Requirements and Configuration Management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Collaborator.
- Due to export controls and ITAR products, candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
