Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the overall production and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Carlos, MN
Pay Range: Based on experience, starting at $27+/hour
What's the Job?
- Coordinate and execute processes involving customer requirements including PPAP, PQR, or other customer part qualification activities.
- Manage the customer part qualification process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review and evaluate new products for quality requirements and inspection needs using APQP processes.
- Create and maintain essential quality documentation, including Control Plans and PFMEA.
- Conduct daily incoming and final inspections to ensure all products meet customer and industry standards.

What's Needed?
- 2-year technical degree in Quality Engineering or a related field, and/or 2 years of work experience in a similar/related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry.
