Our client, a leader in the food safety industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the overall production quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Dunn, NC
Pay Range: $16 - $23 per hour
What's the Job?
- Calculate and enter all supply usage by batch number for each product and code produced daily.
- Assist with the inventory of ingredients and other production supplies.
- Perform annual internal audits against the SQF Code and report findings to the QA manager.
- Assist the QA Manager in reviewing daily production reports and advising the management team of any issues.
- Maintain calibration and logs of production equipment.

What's Needed?
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience with food production and safety is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
