Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance LAB Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance LAB Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance LAB Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Shift: 2nd 3pm-11pm M-F or 3rd shift 11pm-7am Sun -Thur 
Pay: competitive based on exp.

What's the Job?

  • Perform analysis on ingredients, in-process liquid, finished product liquid, and finished packages.
  • Comprehend and adhere to all procedures and maintain accurate and precise records.
  • Conduct instrument and method development, write procedures, and train personnel on new techniques.
  • Participate in organoleptic training and be a member of the tasting panel.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Management with projects and special assignments as directed.

What's Needed?

  • BA/BS in a natural science field; Chemistry is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of professional laboratory experience in quality assurance or a similar environment.
  • Experience in both Packaging and Analytical environments is desired.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful, fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
