Job Title: IT Asset and Incident Management Support

Shift Schedule:

  • 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to monitor multiple information technology systems, manage incidents, and address service requests related to IT systems and applications. This role will involve managing IT assets, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting end-user technology. The position requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and systems management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor IT asset health using Service Now and Power BI reports, identifying lost or missing assets.
  • Oversee physical inventory in stock rooms and warehouses, ensuring desktops, laptops, and accessories are adequately stocked.
  • Prepare shipments to remote sites, track deliveries, and provide status updates to customers.
  • Assist with escalated asset issues and collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Schedule and coordinate warranty work for desktop and laptop systems.
  • Prepare out-of-date desktops and laptops for recycling as part of the asset lifecycle process.
  • Receive and ship IT equipment to designated locations as needed.
  • Perform basic application and infrastructure monitoring tasks.
  • Create and route Service Now Incident tickets to relevant IT teams, ensuring completion and closure.
  • Triage and diagnose end-user technology issues.
  • Support infrastructure technology projects and collaborate with other IT teams on field projects related to networking.
  • Perform administrative support tasks, including assisting with imaging new and restored desktops and laptops.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance in performing job responsibilities.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Understanding of IP networking, event monitoring, logging, and data collection techniques.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Windows servers.
  • Ability to work with Linux operating systems and CISCO switching and routing.
  • Strong customer service skills, able to interact with clients and respond to IT requests.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Service Now, and understanding of incident handling and escalation.
  • Proficiency in data reporting tools such as Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify, research, and analyze system hardware issues.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders.
