About the Role
This role will coordinate and supervise the training of all employees (current employees along with new hires) to ensure training goals are tracked, measured, and understood. This individual will also be responsible for developing, scheduling, and maintaining the training documentation for each team member assigned.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and maintain current and new hire training plans and support new hire onboarding and orientations as needed.
- Work directly with the management teams to align and understand training needs per line/area; ensuring all training methods are in alignment with company standards.
- Provide updates to hourly and salary workforce regarding training status and completion; Ensuring all training documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Training of new employees and providing ongoing updates to existing employees of when changes are required to the production process.
- Responsible for day to day supervision of production employees.
- Establish a professional relationship with the employees in production; encouraging the work force to be quality driven, and motivated to achieve the goals and objectives of the company.
Who we are looking for
- An undergraduate degree in a business related field or engineering with two years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills with specific knowledge of personal computer applications such as spreadsheets and word processing.
- Must have knowledge of JIT (Just in Time) communication devices and MRP systems.
- Possess and show competency in Interpersonal skills, Analytical skills, Problem Solving skills, Decision making skills, Communication skills (both written and oral).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and self motivation.
Your preferred qualifications
- Supervisory experience in JIT environment and Automotive industry highly desired.
