About the Role

The ADAS Feature Owner is responsible for developing ADAS features design utilizing requirements and Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) to achieve necessary results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Decompose regulations or customer ideas/concepts/requirements into system-level requirements (SYS.1 and SYS.2).
  • Use experience to propose requirements when faced with ambiguity.
  • Develop and maintain system-level ADAS feature requirements.
  • Define Key Performance Indexes for feature algorithms.
  • Organize and perform feature requirement reviews.
  • Create & Maintain feature requirement traceability.
  • Support the system validation team in the creation and execution of test cases for either the system bench or vehicle tests.
  • Support system/software architects and algorithm engineers in defining interfaces between features.
  • Incorporate system-level strategies such as system degradation into your feature.
  • Evaluate and tune feature performance on benches and/or vehicles.
  • Analyze test results and data to ascertain feature performance meets requirements.
  • Drive and support the development of ASPICE, FMEA, and FTA artifacts.
  • Deploy continuous improvement ideas for the development and maintenance of requirements.
  • Work assignments primarily involve intermediate through advanced level work, moving toward complete technical competency and mastery of the field.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Maintains regular attendance.
  • Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness as soon as possible following event.
  • Complies with the requirements of Quality Operating System (QOS)

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills (master's preferred)
  • 4-8 years relevant experience as an ADAS feature owner (Safety, Comfort, Parking)

Your preferred qualifications

  • Likes to take ownership.
  • Highly organized.
  • Good presentation skills and personable demeanor.
  • Inquisitive personality.
  • Understand how to execute according to the ASPICE V-cycle for algorithm and software.
  • Experience with requirement management tools like PTC Integrity, DOORS, etc.
  • Experience with ADAS Safety features, functions, and algorithms. Additional Information
  • Experience driving automotive projects to production.
  • Certificate from requirement training or similar
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect
  • Experience in using Simulink for embedded algorithm development
  • Experience in using Vector tools (CANoe/CANape)
  • Able to work in dynamic, fast paced team environment.
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment
  • Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
  • Able to demonstrate expert communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Able to travel (domestic and international may be needed)
