About the Role
Development and implementation of cross functional and holistic strategies to optimize software verification towards efficiency, robustness, and technical excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Analysis of current software verification within the CAP and CTP
- Participate actively in
- Software test environment (SIL, HIL, test automation tools) development
- Software verification workflow and process improvement
- Software verification tools definition & evaluation
- Drive solutions to optimize efficiency and virtualization of software verification
- Preparation and rollout of best practice documents
- Preparation of basis for technical decisions in software verification
- Align software verification practices over all locations world wide
- Department internal know-how transfer (technologies, processes, ...)
- Support requirements activities to improve the interface between left and right side of the VModel
- Lead / participate in cross-project and cross-functional problem solving teams
- Design, coordinate and perform trainings in the field of software verification
- Present software verification topics on conferences
- Foster contacts with universities to investigate on new technologies and inovations in software
- verification, which can be implemented within the organisation
- Execution of benchmark analysis regarding software verification
- Timing, budget and resource responsibility for expert position
- Foster collaboration between global sites
Who we are looking for
Degree (Masters, PhD) in electrical / mechanical / software Eng., computer science or comparable
Work Experience:
• More than 12+ years' experience in SW Testing/Hil Testing
• Certification in software verification (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level)
• Basic know-how in requirement engineering
Your preferred qualifications
Substantial know-how in embedded software verification methods and tools
• Substantial know-how in Hardware in the loop and Software in the loop
• Substantial know-how in automotive software engineering processes (ASPICE, ISO26262,
ISO21434)
• Substantial know-how in agile methods (e.g. test-driven development)
• Know-how in SW virtualization
• Know-how in CI/CD/CT
• Experience in managing software projects
• Knowledge of eDrive system functionality
• Technical Leadership
• Social & intercultural competence
• Professional and convincing appearance
• Critical thinking & Problem Resolution
• Change Competence
