Group Summary

About the Role
The Program Manager is a strategic thinker who will facilitate all program deliverables as defined in the Gate Review process supporting APQP requirements. They will maintain and report out on the internal program health status supporting all customer required planning activities. They will manage the customer interface on a regular basis to resolve any commercial issues, outstanding engineering changes and product quality improvements.

Your Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain project timelines, open issues and correspondence, where necessary, to drive continuous improvement (ie: productivity improvement - scrap reduction); tracking issues and their progress with solid targets and timing.
- Communicate program information to Leadership Team on weekly basis.
- Ensure all PPAP deliverables are submitted by the product team and submit final PPAP to Customer
- Ensure compliance to Packaging approvals and Labeling requirements
- Ensure compliance with Customer Portals (GM=SQMS, etc.)
- Participate in new product PDT's and engage team members, when appropriate, to ensure a smooth and flawless launch and transfer of new program information timely.
Who we are looking for
- Diploma/Degree in related field required (Business, Technical, Project Management) Asset
- Management experience Asset
- Automotive manufacturing experience required.
- Operations experience required
Your preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with the APQP and Product Development process.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with Customer Purchasing, Engineering and Quality representatives verbally and in writing.
- Self-motivated, ability to initiate and follow tasks through to completion.
- Solid ability to analyze technical problems and drive the solution process.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Ability to travel and manage flexible work schedule requirements.
