About the Role
Oversees the operation and programming of all industrial control systems and equipment. Determines industrial controls needs with respect to the current operation and plans for future
controls needs. Interacts with engineering, maintenance and operations concerning controls systems issues and solutions. Ensures the proper operations of the following systems - PLC
Systems, VFD's, HMIs, Control Networks, Windows Servers, WAN, LAN, and desktop PC's.
Your Responsibilities
- Administers and troubleshoots the plant's local area network, interacts with corporate IS support, and installs desktop computer hardware and software.
- Programs PLC logic and HMI interfaces for new projects and system modifications, and executes data and system file backups, including PLC and HMI files.
- Modifies and generates electrical schematics using AutoCAD, and interfaces with vendors to specify and implement controls solutions.
- Provides support and consulting on industrial controls projects to various plant departments, and installs floor-based manufacturing systems.
- Conveys information to management regarding operational problems, and complies with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System requirements.
- Displays a positive attitude towards safety, follows all company policies, reports unsafe conditions, accidents, and injuries, and complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Your preferred qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A four-year degree in Engineering with a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience in industrial control systems or the equivalent
combination of education and work experience.
