This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.

Your Responsibilities
• Direct accountability for overseeing the maintenance of the manufacturing plant, including machine, tools and all equipment necessary for the daily operations.
• Responsible for OHSA programs related to maintenance, SDS management, and Environmental regulations.
• Developing maintenance schedules and plans based on equipment needs and production requirements.
• Collaborating with maintenance Leadhands, technicians, engineers, and managers to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
• Reviewing work orders and assessing the scope of maintenance work required.
• Estimating time, resources, and costs for maintenance activities.
• Contacting appropriate vendors for quotes followed by completing purchase requisitions / orders and approving invoices once received
• Procuring necessary spare parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Documenting maintenance activities, including work performed and any required repairs or replacements.
• Continuously evaluating and optimizing maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Conducting regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop preventive measures.
• Liaison with contractors for specialized repairs and installation of machinery/equipment as required. Ensure contractors have all liability certificates and other safety documentation before entering premises.
• Lead all root cause investigations and implementation of countermeasures related to equipment availability and part quality
• Evaluate processes/equipment and make continuous improvement recommendations to improve availability and overall throughput
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for routine and emergency repairs., Keep parts in an organized location.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system.
• Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
• Follow-up, respond, resolve or refer employees to appropriate personnel for concern resolution/inquiries.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, communicate all required information to appropriate parties as required or applicable (Reports include Time Sheets, Daily Attendance Sheets, Overtime Records, Monthly Employee History).
• Required to train employees on policies, procedures & job specific work instructions applicable to work area according to QEMS.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Who we are looking for
• Recognized Certificate of Qualification as Electrician or Millwright, or equivalent trade experience.
• Previous working experience in an automotive manufacturing facility highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of automotive Stamping Presses, CNC Milling Machines, laser machines and industrial equipment required
• Good organizational skills and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and attain objectives with a minimum of supervision.
• A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be proficient with computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, management, employees, and co-workers.
• Familiar with Advanced Product Quality Planning methods
• Familiarity with Engineering and Quality practices and procedures, blueprint reading, GD&T, use of measuring instruments, checking aids/fixtures, mechanical testing, etc.
