About the Role

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for a variety of tasks with respect to planning and shipping.

The successful candidate for this role will work at our new Magna Chassis and Body Mississauga (MBCM) facility located in Mississauga, ON

Who we are looking for

Your Responsibilities

  • Support MBCM production/service requirements with respect to planning and shipping.
  • Validate integrity of Flow Router for all service/production parts
  • Identify all service production parts at MBCM using pictures
  • Establish the location of each part with clear references with ERP.
  • Determine minimum quantities required based on part history and current releases.
  • Forecast weekly requirements two weeks out at all times.
  • Coordinate with scheduling to run all parts with sufficient lead time to ensure 100% On Time Delivery
  • Oversee that parts are inputted into the inventory system and system is accurate.
  • Accurately book weekly shipments using customer assigned logistics companies.
  • Answer customer screens as to pull ahead confirmations.
  • Review and dispute customer debits utilizing customer web platforms.
  • View customer dealer claims web site for service part problems.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Post secondary education in related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years related experience.
  • Completion of specialized certification considered an asset (APICS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good command of English language both verbal and written with ability to communicate to the customer.
