About the Role
The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of the Corporate Human Resources team, supporting the Human Resources Manager and Senior Human Resources Generalist.

Your Responsibilities
- Assist Corporate Human Resources team with tasks including: new hire orientation, HR communications, managing Workday functions for employee lifecycle events and coordinating employee lunch & learns
- Coordinate summer & co-op student recruitment, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, managing onboarding, leading program events, while serving as the primary contact for student inquiries
- Assist employees with questions related to vacation, benefits, policies, performance management and employee relations
- Serve as the Corporate Subject Matter Expert for Ethics & Legal Compliance reporting, including annual reports & compliance training monitoring
- Participate as an active member of the Joint Health Safety Committee & Social Committee
- Additional duties as required
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Administrative Assistant or Human Resources Coordinator role
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience with Workday and/or Dayforce is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle confidential information while prioritizing and multitasking effectively
Your preferred qualifications
- Previous experience working in a corporate environment is preferred
