About the Role

Inspect and repair welds (as needed) to ensure quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee's Charter and the policies and procedures of Kamtek. Responsible for visual inspection (and repairs if needed) of all welds and weld quality. Additional responsibilities include supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to Kamtek's plant standards and upholding the Magna Employee's Charter.

Your Responsibilities

-Must be able to pass and maintain welding proficiency

-Must be able to detect and repair (within cycle times) all weld defects within your zone

-Ability to set up welding equipment

-Understanding of weld terminology

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts

-Must be willing to work extended hours as needed to meet production requirements

Who we are looking for

Your preferred qualifications

Education/Training:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass Weld Proficiency Test.

Work experience:

minimum 6 months preferred of experience in a welding environment.
