About the Role:
Our Paralegal will manage, review, draft and negotiate the company’s contracts and provide general legal support. We are seeking a business-minded individual with strong follow-up skills and the ability to present practical advice.
Responsibilities:
- Report to and consult with the Chief Financial Officer on all contract matters
- Review clients contracts for accuracy, completeness, and potential legal risks, identifying areas needing negotiation
- Review advertising and marketing agreements to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements
- Draft and negotiate various agreements including vendor contracts, partnership agreements and other commercial transactions, with a focus on high-volume client contracts
- Research and assess legal issues and provide advice to minimize potential legal risks
- Collaborate with internal teams like finance, sales, and business operations to gather information, and address concerns regarding contracts
- Maintain and update standard contract templates for different types of agreements
- Organize and maintain a system for storing and tracking contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Assist and monitor contract compliance that arise after execution
- Liaise with outside counsel on escalated legal matters
- Manage and prioritize legal assignments
- Maintain and enforce legal processes and guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in contract analysis, procurement, or legal review roles.
- 3+ years in contract review, drafting, and negotiations
- In-house experience a plus
- Knowledge of California and New York law preferred
- Experience in the MarTech industry and knowledge of security and data-privacy laws a plus

- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all business departments

- Exceptional multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Solutions-oriented with a strong business acumen
- Good judgment, attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Work Environment:
We offer a mix of in-office and hybrid working. Hybrid remote work arrangements are not available for all positions. Please refer to the job posting detail to determine what in-office requirements apply. Where applicable, hybrid WFH days work must be conducted from your home office located in a jurisdiction in which Madison Logic has the legal right to operate. WFH requires availability and responsiveness on a full-time basis from a distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. Please inquire for more details.
