We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist – Civil/Utility to join our Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of direct experience using Innovyze technologies (InfoWater, InfoDrainage, InfoWorks, Info360) and AutoCAD Civil 3D. They should also have a background in developing designs and implementing operations for utility systems such as water, gas, wastewater, and electric. Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Esri ArcGIS, and at least one of the Innovyze related technologies is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate, map/integrate disparate AEC technologies to solve design and construction workflow inefficiencies.
  • Present proposed technical solution(s) and relate them to the customer's business issues.
  • Provide Technical Support to help customers through technical issues.
  • Deliver training at either Symetri or client offices.
  • Provide staff augmentation and mentoring services to support customers.
  • Develop technical documentation for standards and workflows.
  • Establish metrics for quantifying the customer's return on investment and justification for solution investment.
  • Lead discovery of adjacent opportunities.
  • Support the success of the Symetri sales team by providing technical presentations, recommending solution offerings and marketing messaging.
  • Deliver online webinars to customers.
  • Grow and maintain respected, long-term, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the Symetri sales force involved with the opportunity.

 

 MIMIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related industry.
  • At least 3 or more years of experience in Civil/Utility Engineering Technology within the industry within one or more of the following areas:
    • Direct experience with the process, workflow, and use of Innovyze technologies.
    • Direct experience developing designs and implementing operations for utility systems, such as water, gas, wastewater and electric.
    • Direct experience with the process, workflow, and use of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Esri ArcGIS and related technologies.
  • Proven success leading project groups and/or technicians, providing activities and guidance on utility process, design, and construction.
  • Understands the workflow between various members of the design and construction teams.
  • Professional registration (P.E., P.L.S., etc.) and industry accreditations (LEED AP, GISP) a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience. Candidates with a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license and additional years of experience may be eligible for a higher salary.
