Job Description- Match bills-of-lading, manifests, invoices, and packing slips
- Match bills-of-lading and/or packing slips to invoices for payment
- Contact freight carriers for all outbound shipments
- Maintain a working knowledge of all customers’ compliance
- Combine same day shipments onto one bill-of-lading
- Contact customer’s Traffic Department for all overweight shipment by phone, fax or the Internet
- Maintain a log of all calls made to carriers for pick-up
- Maintain log of all purchase order approvals
- Prepare all export paperwork
- Prepare all sir freight paperwork
- Assist Inventory Control with inputting inventory data entry
- Perform all job functions of Distribution Associates
- Report any unsafe work conditions to management
- Perform periodic cycle counts
- Participate in physical inventories
- Work overtime on an as needed basis
- Submit orders for routing on the internet/email following customer routing guide.
- Ensure all outbound loads are called in for routing prior to cancellation dates
- Ensure all international shipping documents are completed properly
- Valid IATA/ICAO, DOT 49 CFR, International Maritime Dangerous Goods certification
- Ensure all customer VCG requirements are followed to minimize Charge Backs
- Ability to recognize and anticipate areas of noncompliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Working knowledge of using a PC and the internet – specific understanding of Microsoft Excel and how to manipulate data using sorting, filtering, and pivot table functions
- Ability to lift heavy boxes

1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm.
