The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments, including IoT ecosystems and microservice architectures. Additionally, this role involves working with modern front-end technologies such as React. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

- Translates complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules; partners with product teams to understand business needs and functional specifications. This includes working with Java, Kafka, Spring Boot, and building microservices while understanding microservice architecture.
- Independently writes high-quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suites and observability frameworks. This involves heavy backend development and the use of technologies such as Redis.
- Guides application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, and strategies. This includes developing IoT platforms and integrating them within various computing environments.
- Participates in and mentor's other engineers in software development technologies and processes by creating onboarding documents, conducting root cause analysis, sharing key learnings, and leading demos and share-out sessions.
- Automates and simplifies team development, testing, and operations processes to enhance efficiency. Evaluates modern software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
- 4 years of experience in any of following competencies: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or DevOps
- 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $175,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
