Your Impact

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will develop immersive spatial computing experiences for Apple Vision Pro, iPad, and iPhone, focusing on ARKit and RealityKit, leveraging Apple's AR ecosystem to create high-performance, scalable, and interactive solutions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver visually rich and intuitive applications that enhance user engagement and push the boundaries of spatial computing experiences in retail and beyond.

What you will do
Develops and refines AR applications for iPad and iPhone using ARKit and RealityKit, ensuring seamless performance and high-fidelity user experiences.
Designs and implements interactive features, including real-world object tracking, plane detection, and AR-driven visualizations.

Optimizes rendering pipelines, shaders, and assets to ensure low-latency, high-performance AR applications on iOS devices.
Collaborates with designers, hardware engineers, and software developers to integrate AR solutions into broader application ecosystems, and streamline development workflows with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
Tailors AR applications to specific retail use cases, creating visually compelling and intuitive customer experiences.
Guides application and software development teams, mentors other engineers, and evaluates modern software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
• 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
• 4 years of experience in any of following competencies: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or DevOps
• 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and Focus:
5 years in software development or a related field, with a focus on AR development for iPad and iPhone, and proven expertise with ARKit and/or RealityKit for building augmented reality applications.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Swift, Swift UI, and/or Objective-C for iOS application development, and experience optimizing AR applications for real-time performance, including rendering, tracking, and asset management.
Understanding and Problem-Solving: Solid understanding of Apple's AR frameworks and ecosystem, including Xcode and iOS development best practices, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and profile AR applications for CPU/GPU efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across design, product, and engineering teams.
Specialized Experience: Experience developing AR applications for retail or visualization use cases, familiarity with interactive 3D content workflows and game engines like Unity or Unreal for AR integration, and knowledge of advanced rendering techniques.
Contributions and Code Deployment: Experience deploying AR applications to production with scalable, maintainable code, and contributions to open-source projects, research publications, or exploration of emerging AR technologies.

Pay Range: $106,200.00 - $201,800.00 annually
