The Sr Manager, Product Management leads a product team responsible for a specific product or set of products, including leading the research and product development efforts as well as implementation and execution of the product strategy. This role works with a high level of autonomy and discretion and has responsibility for products and all strategic and tactical work associated with designing and delivering the products within scope of responsibility. This role includes responsibility for setting team expectations, delegating assignments and managing performance, identifying talent needs, and coaching and developing team members.
What you will do
- Owns the near-term (one- to two-year) view of product vision and strategy and cross-functional execution for the product group. Leads a large or complex product/product group portfolio. Influences teams within the organization and external partners on objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Builds cross-functional roadmaps focused on delivering user value across the enterprise. Drives prioritization cross-functionally and communicates how user value is being delivered according to the roadmap.
- Demonstrates "customer/user expertise across multiple products within the product group and builds cross-functional partnerships to improve efficiencies.
- Sets the direction for the design of assigned products and leads and coaches teams to ensure delivery and expectations are clearly defined for multiple products or a group of products.
- Identifies issues that may impede the success of products in a product group, communicates effectively to leadership, and presents alternatives and recommendation for resolution. Identifies unmet opportunities through research and/or experimentation for assigned products.
- Owns and leads the product journey-mapping across domains to drive clarity in product separation while maintaining holistic workflows for the end users. Makes trade-off decisions on multiple products in a product group.
- Sets the benchmark for delivering quality products. Sets the standard across the team and enterprise for building usable, viable, and feasible products.
- Experiments to ensure user adoption before making large investments in product builds.
- Establishes and audits overall product operating routines for product.
- Brings internal/external inputs to guide measures of product success. Builds a product metric-driven culture and uses metrics to drive product insights across the team and business partners.
- Uses product marketing to drive a deep understanding of the product owned with peers and leaders. Works with stakeholders to develop product market fit strategies.
- Owns and drives product plans for the team and leverages data for multiple sources to negotiate alignment and timing for cross-domain dependencies to achieve expected value. Accountable for aligning with partners to achieve the value of a product or business case.
- Defines objectives and data required for analytics needed either independently or in conjunction with business partners for the products across the team. Partners with engineering teams to build tracking/monitoring needed to get to the data.
- Develops functional and technical OKRs/metrics and creates corresponding data/analytics to track the health and business impact. Defines key metrics of the product and build and practice routines to consistently monitor health of the product, while consistently reviewing product metrics to drive product insights. Leverages the data to determine trends and opportunities across the team.
- Leads a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
- 8 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing
- 4 years of experience in product and/or experience management with experience partnering with technology and user experience teams in translating business strategy into prioritized specific product features and requirements
- 3 years of experience in an agile software environment with demonstrated delivery of business results
- Experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
- Demonstrated proficiency in product marketing with experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree
- 2 years of experience leading the digital product roadmap
- 2 years of prior leadership experience with direct report responsibility in a top 25 omni-channel retailer, managing operational and/or project financial budgets
- Strong financial acumen
- Certified Scrum Product Owner

- Associates are required to relocate to the Charlotte region to foster collaboration and facilitate improved testing and support.
- Lowe's supports a Flex Office concept where in-person work is required two days per week at the Charlotte Tech Hub
- Most business meetings are planned around the Eastern time zone.

Pay Range: $122,600.00 - $232,900.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
