Sr Data Scientist - Supply Chain

Your Impact
The primary purpose of the Sr Data Scientist is to provide advanced analytical capabilities to support data science initiatives at scale. This position solves complex problems with the direction of senior colleagues and is responsible for the data science support of various initiatives. Finally, this position develops advanced automated self-service products and solutions for business partners to effectively interpret data and build data products at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Applies advanced data science, machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL) algorithms necessary to derive insights and develop solutions providing a competitive advantage to the business.
  • Develops dashboard reports to track and measure financial results, customer satisfaction, and engagement metrics.
  • Leads automation and analytical projects, collaborating across functions.
  • Translates and provides guidance to more junior level scientists to translate requirements into an analytical approach.
  • Leverages deep understanding of statistical techniques and tools to analyze data according to the project plan and communicates with stakeholders to provide updates and manage scope.
  • Prepares final recommendations through effective storytelling and actionable insights for the relevant stakeholders to build solutions that are implementable and scalable in the business.
  • Executes plan for measuring impact based on discussions with stakeholders, partners, and senior team members.
  • Executes projects with full adherence to enterprise project management practices by participating in formal and informal training.
  • Maintains senior-level knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies and applies it to projects as well as uses it to guide team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) and 4 years of experience executing and deploying data science, ML, DL, and generative AI solutions, preferably in a large-scale enterprise setting (fewer years may be accepted with a master's or doctorate degree)
  • 2 years of SQL and programming experience (fewer years may be accepted with a master's or doctorate degree)

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master's Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional partners
  • 2 years of experience using multiple data systems and sources

Pay Range: $95,100.00 - $180,700.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
