Innovate in Charlotte

This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish Product Vision: Drive the development of product vision and strategy using data and insights from Google Cloud and Vertex AI to find opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Customer Experience: Apply advanced analytics techniques, leveraging Google Cloud and Vertex AI, to understand customer behavior, preferences, and needs, and drive initiatives to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Product Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of data science projects on Google Cloud, including data exploration, model development, validation, and deployment using Vertex AI, ensuring high-quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Advocacy Influence: Collaborate with business stakeholders to advocate for data-driven decision-making, using insights from Google Cloud and Vertex AI to influence the adoption of data-driven strategies across the organization.
  • Product Analysis/Insights: Analyze large-scale datasets using Google Cloud, develop statistical models with Vertex AI, and generate actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience executing and deploying data science, ML, DL, and generative AI solutions, preferably in a large-scale enterprise setting (fewer years may be accepted with a master's or doctorate degree)
  • 2 years of SQL and programming experience (fewer years may be accepted with a master's or doctorate degree)
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional partners
  • 2 years of experience using multiple data systems and sources
