The purpose of the Sr. Analyst, Private Brand Sustainability is to support the development and implementation of strategic sustainability programs that will enhance the execution and confidence of Lowe's Private Brand portfolio. The Sr. Analyst, Private Brand Sustainability will also lead the development of a compliance strategy for state and federal packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws.
What you will do:
• Identifies and actions upon opportunities to improve product sustainability within Lowe's Private Brand portfolio in partnership with Sr. Manager, Private Brand Sustainability QA.
• Provides guidance across Global Merchandising on sustainable product design, materials, and end of life disposal best practices

• Collaborates with Sr. Manager, Private Brand Sustainability QA on creating various trainings and communication to internal teams and suppliers on sustainability goals and initiatives that impact Private Brands in
• Validates Private Brand product sustainability claims and works closely with internal teams and suppliers to align on documentation requirements
• Researches, recommends, and implements process improvements for Private Brand product sustainability claim review process, balancing external requirements with internal capabilities
• Develops and maintains process for tracking all Private Brand product sustainability claims and relevant documentation
• Leads cross-functional projects to develop strategy for complying with state and federal packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, identifying and outlining internal stakeholder responsibilities for managing compliance
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
• 3 years' experience in sustainability, environmental sciences, or reporting functions
• 2 years' experience assessing organizational processes and efficiencies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in retail
