This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision: Drive the development of product vision and strategy using data and insights to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Customer Experience: Apply advanced analytics techniques to understand customer behavior, preferences, and needs, driving initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Project Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of data science projects, deploy machine learning models to google cloud, do performance testing and tuning for deep learning models ensuring high-quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Advocacy and Insights: Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for data-driven decision-making and analyze large-scale datasets to generate actionable insights for operational efficiency, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Machine Learning and Computer Vision: Utilize TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV to develop high-performance applications and implement algorithms for object detection, image classification, depth estimation, generative AI, and image segmentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) and 4 years of experience in ML platform engineering, data, and MLOps tools, and ML frameworks
  • 3 years of experience working with GPU and CPU infrastructure, optimizing ML models for performance
  • 3 years of programming language experience. Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, statistics, physics, economics, data science, information science, or quantitative analytics
  • 3 years of experience working with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools
  • 3 years of experience in defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
  • 3 years of experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, Hadoop ecosystem, Druid, Trino, Big Query, Google Vertex AI
