Lowe's 2025 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities. Qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Signage Graphic Design Internship:
The Store Signage team supports the design of all graphic elements in 1746 stores across the US. We design everything from small item-specific product cards to large-scale graphics hanging at the entryway to our store.
Areas of Learning:
- Understanding of how signage design is impacted by the environment in our stores.
- Differences between design and production and when each is appropriate
- Knowledge of style guide application, both corporate guidelines, signage standards, and specific event treatments
- Learn to work with a seasoned copywriter to bring signage vision to life
- Negotiation skills when working with signage standards and merchandising requests
Education and/or Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commercial and Advertising Arts, Graphic Design, Graphic Communications or related fields from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2025 or May 2026
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Adobe Design Suite with strong ability in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong collaborative, innovative, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
