Your Impact
The primary purpose of this position is to, develop, communicate, implement, and manage the business development, integration, and connection of Pro Delivery, Logistics, and pick up in store tools and programs into the company. Development and operation of both store internal tools/systems communications and promotions allows the organization to maximize growth objectives for the business as a key responsibility of this position. This position will support optimization of the Pro Delivery and Logistics network by understanding and supporting network capacities, distribution centers, transportation processes, and vendor resources. This includes responsibility for developing, managing, and executing advanced planning tools, monitoring results, and alerting Distribution Center management of trends and conditions that may adversely impact Pro customers and Final Mile operations.

What you will do

  • Facilitates communication throughout all steps between a variety of internal stakeholders and vendor partners, ensuring that system functionality satisfy internal customers' needs and are highly adopted.
  • Identifies and drives continuous improvement of current business processes as a result of the downstream effect of broader company initiatives, systems changes, ideation efforts, efficiencies, etc.
  • Creates a collaborative environment by working in a team of peers to solve problems and shares information with peers, manager, sales teams, and customers as appropriate
  • Collects feedback, analyzes information, develops content, and consults for Pro Delivery and Logistics sales team in all aspects of communications, training, marketing, personnel, etc.
  • Identifies logistical and delivery needs and develops processes, policy, and training for field teams (AEPs) through: onboarding, training, Q&A, reporting, research, collaboration, resources, strategic planning, and connectivity with other field and store team members; schedules, leads and attends select meetings (physical & virtual), select events, and customer site visits to gain knowledge and provide support to maximize the effectiveness of these occurrences
  • Creates innovative and informative training and educational materials, including PowerPoint presentations and documents to educate field, store and SSC personnel on Pro Delivery and Logistics topics
  • May perform research regarding ProServices customer deliveries/ fulfillment; makes suggestions to or provides such information to sales teams to optimize sales relationships, and update status to field teams or customers.
  • May analyze pro customer delivery patterns and methodologies, in order to maintain and enhance new programs and processes that will increase efficiency and alleviate friction.
  • Work cross functionally with multiple departments (e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, Fulfillment Centers, Store/Internal Communications, Supply Chain Delivery, Omni, Credit, Human Resources) to learn about and then maintain/enhance existing programs and processes
  • Communicates with and interacts with stores, vendors, and outside agencies to maintain/enhance existing programs and develop new programs
  • Oversees, develops, and drives Pro Delivery related communities via Microsoft Office to drive and support all communication, training, and general support/awareness when it comes to Pro Fulfillment initiatives
  • Writes communications on behalf of the Pro Delivery and Logistics department and publishes those communications as emails, updates, blogs, wiki's, videos etc. all in an effort to educate and connect Pro teams on key initiatives, events, promotions, etc.
  • Presents in classroom setting as needed to educate corporate colleagues on current Pro topics.
  • May perform store visits or inquires with store employees to determine effectiveness of delivery programs, communications, other store tools and resources.
  • Provides necessary support to Pro store teams, field management, corporate field teams and corporate management to maintain and maximize pro relationships.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Business Administration, Communication, Education/Training, or related field and 2 Years OR
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Communication, Education/Training, or related field and Experience in project/event development experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven experience in Home Improvement or Industrial/Commercial Supply House very helpful, with experience at Lowe's or another mass retailer extremely helpful.
