The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities All internships are paid opportunities. This role has potential for conversion into a returning Supply Chain internship for those that successfully complete the program and required education. And qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Market Delivery Internship
Market Delivery maintains and updates a number of data sources that are used to run the business and in communication with our partners across Lowe's. Examples include the relationships between BDC (Bulk Distribution Center), XDT (Cross-Dock Delivery Terminal), Stores, and the eligibility of items/assortments for delivery via an XDT (Cross-Dock Delivery Terminal).
The Market Delivery team focuses on the process documentation to better support the business. This internship will consist of the following: You will be responsible for creating process documents and guides that support key processes, ensuring consistency and reliability. This includes areas such as financials, invoices, and 3PL (third-party logistics) expectations. These tasks will enhance our financial accuracy and support various business functions by providing a solid foundation for standard optimization.
Gather Information: Collect all relevant information from stakeholders, including current procedures, best practices, and any existing documentation.
Standardize Formats: Create a standardized template for all documents to ensure consistency. This could include sections like purpose, scope, responsibilities, procedures, and references.
Detail Procedures: Write detailed, step-by-step procedures for each process. Include any necessary forms, checklists, or tools that are used.
Review and Validate: Have the documents reviewed by stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness. Make any necessary revisions based on their feedback.
Training and Implementation: Develop a training plan to ensure all relevant employees understand and can follow the new procedures. Implement the documents and monitor their use.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update the documents to reflect any changes in processes or best practices.

Required Qualifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Industrial Engineering with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills required (must be comfortable speaking / presenting to a variety of people with varying roles / responsibilities)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required (focused on problem-solving and customer service)
• Relevant internship and related work experience is a plus (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Process Improvement, or Project Management), as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
