Lowe's 2025 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities. Qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Learning and Development Internship:
Enterprise Learning supports the design of enterprise-wide training programs for management and associates tied to Lowe's business requirements and strategies.
Areas of Learning:
- Instructional Design Models and Frameworks: Understand how to apply design frameworks to design effective learning experiences.
- Needs Analysis and Audience Assessment: Understand how to conduct needs assessments to identify learner needs, goals, and gaps. Learn how to gather and analyze data to inform course design.
- Content Creation and Storyboarding: Develop skills in creating learning materials, including writing clear instructional content and creating storyboards for course modules.
- eLearning Development Tools: Learn how to use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva to create interactive and engaging digital learning content.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Learn how to design formative and summative assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Education and/or Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education; Instructional Design; Organizational Development; Human Resources or related fields from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theory; instructional design (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)
- Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
