The primary purpose of this role is to provide consultation and technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure the successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our software applications. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing both the front-end and back-end components of our applications, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You Will Do;
- Build front-end applications using technologies and languages including but not limited to TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and micro frontends.
- Build backend services to support the UI applications developed by this team and others using technologies and languages including but not limited to: Node.js, Fastify, Express, Java, Micronaut, Spring boot, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka
- Deploy the applications to Lowe's hosted data centers or the cloud using technologies and languages including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform
- Support the applications using data using technologies and languages including but not limited to Grafana, Kibana, PowerBI, Superset
- Continuously works to simplify solutions, optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
- 7 years of experience in software development or a related field
- 6 years of experience in database technologies
- 6 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
- 6 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
- 6 years of experience working with defect or incident-tracking software
- 6 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
- 4 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- 4 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
- 6 years of experience working with source code control systems
- Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools.
- 6 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
Where You'll Be;
- Associates are required to relocate to the Charlotte region to foster collaboration and facilitate improved testing and support.
- Lowe's supports a Flex Office concept where in-person work is required two days per week at the Charlotte Tech Hub
- Most business meetings are planned around the Eastern time zone.

Pay Range: $111,600.00 - $212,000.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
