Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to be a technology resource between Human Resources, IT, and other areas within our business. This includes responsibility for providing the highest level of technical and functional expertise in a HR System specific domain. This includes having demonstrated independent work in the design and implementation of very complex solutions, and knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of industry/vendor solutions and capabilities within the enterprise. This role acts as the technical expert for these technology platforms inside Lowe's to ensure all HR Systems function properly and to identify process improvement opportunities in the organization.

  • Resolves complex problems within the HR application supported and workstreams to drive implementations; leads projects with business implications, participates in planning and priority estimates; executes with limited guidance
  • Leads development of integrated HR solutions to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards
  • Supports component integration testing (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams in order to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage
  • Mentors and advises others in all HR system development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
  • Communicates changes in software architecture and coaches others to apply this understanding to Data or Platform solutions; resolves escalated issues
  • Leads efforts to improve HR systems configuration, test, and operational excellence best practices
  • Monitors systems performance and continuously creates improvement recommendations
  • Solves complex cross-functional design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.
  • Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise data solutions by leveraging partnerships with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issues
  • Participates in developing solution strategies and roadmaps within a specific domain
  • Evolves solutions to include emerging technologies where appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Information Technology or related field 5-7 Years experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software; experience in maintenance, enhancement and project initiatives related to a specific domain; ability to convert IT terminology to business case terms; experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
  • 3-5 Years experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions; experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Human Resources, Information Technology or related field 3-5 Years with a Masters Degree: Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software; experience in maintenance, enhancement and project initiatives related to a specific domain; ability to convert IT terminology to business case terms; experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC); experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions; experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
  • Knowledge of current Lowe's Enterprise Resource Planning software

Pay Range: $102,300.00 - $194,400.00 annually
