Dir-Inventory Strategy & Initiatives

Huntersville, NC

Essential Functions:
• Manages and supervises the global team of initiative managers supporting all divisions and business areas.
• Leads, coaches, develops, and sets objectives for both direct and indirect reports.
• Partners with IRP VPs to set strategic direction and sponsorship of company initiatives for Inventory Planning
• Develops and execute strategies to support each specific initiative including promotional, seasonal entry/exit and overall flow plans/policies supporting key initiatives that meet financial objectives.
• Ensures day-to-day cross-functional alignment and execution of inventory strategies and tactical inventory plans
• Ensures roles and responsibilities of global teams are properly defined, communicated and trained.

• Partners with IRP and SC Technology teams to help design, develop, and implement the IRP Technology roadmap
• Contributes to future development of Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Coaches and mentors managers and develop talent within the team.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree - Business or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 10 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or demand planning
• 4 years of experience in project management

Preferences:
• Master's Degree - Business or related field
• 3 years of relevant work experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning or supply chain analytics.
