Innovate in Charlotte

This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of mobile engineers to deliver state-of-the-art mobility solutions.

• Innovation: Drive the development of next-generation hardware and software platforms, focusing on seamless integration and superior user experiences.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the mobile engineering strategy aligned with business goals.

• Technical Expertise: Oversee architecture, design, and implementation of Android applications, mobility device management systems, and platform engineering projects.

• Collaboration: Partner with product management, UX, and hardware teams to create cohesive, scalable, and innovative solutions.

• Quality Assurance: Establish best practices for development, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and reliable applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years of IT experience in software engineering or related field

• 10 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

• 5 years of experience leading global technology teams with direct report responsibility

• 3 years of experience working closely with senior leadership

• 3 years of experience managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of third-party vendors and/or software providers

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
