The Director Sales Analytics & Insights will drive high impact analysis, increases productivity, and accelerates effectiveness of the Sales Organization. In addition, this role is a key stake holder in the development, measurement, and management of sales strategy as it relates to helping to determine the right mix of sellers aligned by market segment and region as well optimization of the selling portfolio. This role will also oversee all aspects of our sales analytics, reporting and planning including oversight of quota setting, territory alignment and sales capacity modeling. Using a data driven approach this role identifies new opportunities to increase sales effectiveness and will communicate those recommendations and their value to cross-functional leadership groups. This role operates in a fast-paced, high growth environment and will be able to define the strategy of the function while also rolling up their sleeves to execute on it. This role requires the ability to thrive in multiple critical functions; sales strategy as well as financial, business, and data analysis including executive communication both internal and external. As a leading member of the Lowe's Pro Sales Operations and Enablement Team, this position provides a unique opportunity to proactively engage in a complex analytical intelligence process interfacing with executive and senior leadership, while building relationships cross functionally. The successful candidate will be: an individual that can lead & develop in-depth understanding of sales strategy & analysis, a deeply curious individual who can convert ambiguous requests for information into action, a person that enjoys establishing complex business models with statistical analysis, an individual that can derive specific processes and facilitate requests to meet specific deadlines through effective time and team management, able to clearly and effectively communicate results using a method which meets the needs of the audience at all levels of the business.

What you will do

  • Responsible for modeling, defining, and executing initiatives that will drive sales efficiency, productivity and velocity.
  • • Leads a team of direct repots, completing all the people management activities associated with leadership of a highly functioning team, including responsibility of recruiting, hiring, development and performance of team members
  • • Measures, analyzes, and derives insight into results to support informed, fact-based business decisions which drive improved performance and results across Lowe's B2B sales organization.
  • • Provide expert advice into analysis for major sales initiatives and programs in addition to sales leadership dashboards, PPT presentations, etc.
  • • Synthesize complex data into easily understood and compelling management reports and performance dashboards.
  • • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key partners in sales, finance, marketing, product division and across the entire company.
  • • Establish a high degree of confidence with executive leadership and cross functional partners by providing accurate analysis and reporting to executive level audience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 7 years experience developing and implementing sales enablement and operations initiatives for field salesforces. Experience in retail, a plus
  • 5 years experience in data analytics, performance reporting
  • 5 years experience with leading a team with an emphasis on development, accountability, and delivering business results
  • 3 years experience with PowerPoint, SFDC, Excel, Access, Business Objects, Hadoop, and Teradata
  • 3-5 years experience with enterprise business sales strategies and process, as well as, enabling tools including CRM (ie Salesforce.com)

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master's Degree and 3 years experience leading a large-scale salesforce transformation effort
  • 3 years experience working in a Fortune 500 corporate environment, Omni-channel retail
