Lead highly visible and highly strategic bodies of work that harmonizes brand and customer strategies to ladder up overall Lowe's Brand imperatives. Responsible for the team that identifies and codify key inputs for brand and customer strategy in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders and agencies. Lead team responsible for establishing quarterly strategy sessions and unearthing core growth audience segments that can be activated against. Responsible for coordination across the enterprise to enable marketing technology capabilities and processes that will help deliver total company metrics and increase marketing efficiency. Will work closely across marketing brand and channel teams to identify capability requirements. Will partner across the enterprise as well as external technology and agency partners to ensure delivery of solutions that balance speed to market, scalability, and cost effectiveness. This leader will possess analytical problem-solving abilities and will demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter who can effectively manage and deliver both large and small projects. They will be a critical-thinker and strategically ensure attention is being given to the most pressing opportunities. They will also possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, working cross functionally across key stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver results.

What you will do

  • Directs a team of managers and individual contributors that pinpoint gaps within business processes and identifies new technologies that drive recommendations for advancements within marketing execution process.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with vendors and internal Lowe's Teams interpreting short term and long term roadmaps for delivery of channel goals including audience, promo, creative, optimization, and measurement.
  • Defines and develops results oriented mid and long term plans that define the business needs and requirements. Shares plans with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.
  • Drives the timing of actionable strategic opportunities to improve automation and efficiency across marketing functional teams.
  • Creates and distributes documentation cross-functionally that promotes marketing technology (MarTech) adoption, prioritizes launches, and leverages Learn framework.
  • Determines value of proposed vendor partnerships with Lowe's marketing.
  • Utilizes knowledge of current marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities & dependencies, existing roadmap/workflow items, proposed vendor capabilities, and incremental value of 3P partnerships to drive business results.
  • Translates business objectives, capabilities, value drivers, success metrics, and business priorities cross-functionally in order to reconcile multiple stakeholders view to be in alignment with executive leaderships future vision.
  • Provides Senior Marketing leadership (Sr Director & above) key updates regarding strategy, progress, and risks.
  • Communicates changes or improvements to cross functional partners as it relates to initiatives, capabilities, and features to ensure business teams are appropriately informed.
  • This position manages/supervises people

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, Applied Quantitative or related field
  • 10-12 Years of general Marketing experience
  • 5-7 Years leading a team
  • 7-8 Years of experience in market research field
  • 7-8 Years of experience in consumer insights and research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • 3-5 Years Mastery of unique market research areas such as marketing, in store experience, retail, etc.
  • Experience working in a retail environment
