Digital Creative Designer

Your Impact:

The Digital Creative Designer directly assists the Creative Managers, fellow Designers, Copywriters and Creative Operations Producers to create concept and design of digital assets in support of Lowe's marketing priorities. This position is responsible for translating business briefs and customer journeys into impactful graphic design layouts and production of digital assets. The designer creates impactful concepts in the Lowe's brand style with the flexibility to address Lowe's program and client messages through targeted advertising initiatives. This role is expected to be up-to-date on all media channel formats, standards as well as trends. This requires a great attention to detail, mastery of the tools required for layout and great time management skills. The Designer produces a range of visual options to meet the needs of the business with minimal supervision from the CM. The Designer will work autonomously as well as within a team environment, collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners. Typically, the Designer is designing for top tier clients and internal programs, and has high accountability for jobs that are categorized as targeted digital communications. This requires experience across multiple channels, including digital display, email, social media, and general layout best practices.

What You Will Do:

  • On a monthly basis, the Designer works with the CMs, Sr. Designers and Copywriters to design pieces that are within brand standards and fulfill business needs. This work is mostly top tier clients for Lowe's Media Network and targeted Customer Marketing channels
  • Produces visual design treatments and templates for advertising materials in growing digital business areas
  • Versions out design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and business strategy
  • Works with the CMs to prioritize the workload and determine the best design approach
  • Partners with the CM, Design and production studio team in executing work
  • On a daily basis, the Designer carries a full workload of tactical, production design requests. In addition, the Designer is continuously growing their professional skills with feedback and advice provided by their CM. The Designer will work autonomously as well as within a team environment. The Designer will work within a flexible process that is ever evolving to meet the business needs while working with, at times, tight deadlines.
  • Executes creative assignments as part of a team as well as with other creative studio services
  • Designs to consistently high standards that enhance the Lowe's brand while supporting necessary clients and targeted audiences
  • Works within Workfront for job workload management
  • Utilizes ProofHQ for trafficking work for review when appropriate
  • Presents design work to CM for review and approval
  • Applies seasonal style guides, brand standards, and client brand guidelines to their work for Lowe's digital advertising communications
  • Creates design layouts and graphics for Lowe's targeted digital vehicles including but not limited to digital display, social media and email



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years Design and production experience
  • Experience in Adobe CS including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
