Lowe's 2025 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities. Qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Lowe's Creative Design Intern:
The Creative Design Intern directly assists the Associate Creative Directors, Copywriters and Producers to create advertising layouts. This position is responsible for graphic design and production for print and digital production. They design impactful concepts in the Lowe's brand style with the flexibility to address broad brand messages through to highly promotional offers. This role is expected to be up-to-date on all media channel formats, standards as well as trends. The Designer works with the ACD to translate business briefs into impactful design. This requires a great attention to detail, mastery of the tools required for layout and great time management skills. The Designer produces a range of visual options to meet the needs of the business with minimal supervision from the ACD. The Designer works independently on jobs that are within print or digital. Typically, the Designer is designing for, and has high accountability for, jobs that are categorized as Tier 2-3. This requires experience across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and signage.
Education and/or Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2025 or May 2026
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Proficient in Adobe CS (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Familiarity with Figma
- Familiarity with Mac OS
- Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
