Analyst Pricing Pro

Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to support the execution of pricing and related activities in support of Lowe's Pro pricing strategy. Their primary focus will be on managing day to day pricing activities that support their senior/manager pricing team and their merchant partners. This position will be responsible for generating pricing reports and executing pricing changes by utilizing a variety of data and resources. The Pricing Analyst will work with the rest of their team to ensure the timely implementation of all Pro pricing recommendations.

What you will do

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting in support of various Pro pricing programs related to competitiveness, localization, discount progression and key financial metrics
  • Effectively execute pricing tests with related internal communications. Provide data and reporting to enable regular performance reporting to merchants and other stakeholders
  • Understand the relationships between several unique pricing programs and be able to communicate program parameters clearly
  • Support senior/manager pricing team in identifying opportunities to drive sales and profitability, leveraging data insights and stakeholder input and expertise
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned business area, serving as the primary point of contact for researching and troubleshooting any Pro pricing related issues as they arise

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field and 1+ years corporate retail pricing, promotions or general analytics or strategy experience OR H.S. Diploma and 3+ years relevant experience (pricing, merchandising, finance, or related field focused on retail analytics)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and correspondence
  • Experience using standard software and analytics tools such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years' experience in Home Improvement Retail or experience working in an omnichannel environment
  • 1+ years' experience developing processes and procedures to support business objectives
  • 1+ years' experience in retail pricing
