Job Overview:
The Client Service Associate plays a critical role in enhancing and developing existing and new client relationships, while striving to deliver a client experience that exceeds expectations. In partnership with the Relationship Managers, the Client Service Associate engages with our strategic partner firms’ home office research teams to ensure widespread Lord Abbett product availability and endorsements to further position our firm and distribution teams for success. On a daily basis, the individual collaborates with colleagues across the firm, including Investments, Legal and Compliance, Marketing, Product Strategy, Messaging and Data, and Operations to fulfill client requests related to business development, asset retention, and product/platform/model placements and sales.
We’ll trust you to:
- Manage analyst meetings and on-sites, as well as routine client requests including: due diligence questionnaires, commentaries, investment data, presentations, and compliance and legal information.
- Lead all aspects of client meeting prep: prep documents, agendas, presentations, performance, and attribution. Communicate regularly with Lord Abbett participants including Portfolio Managers, Investment Strategists, and various other groups across the firm.
- Review and analyze investment-level and client-level data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and credibility.
- Engage and participate in team meetings and share best practices. Suggest ways to enhance processes and think creatively and strategically to grow client relationships.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge across Lord Abbett’s funds, SMAs, and alternative strategies.
- Anticipate and respond to client requests with priority by partnering with Product Messaging, Investment Strategists, Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals, Product Data, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and team members to proactively create new content for strategic opportunities.
- Build meaningful relationships with research analysts at key Broker Dealer partners.
- Communicate our firm story and any relevant information such as personnel or product updates to clients as necessary.
You'll need to have:
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Proactive, collaborative team player, positive attitude
- Ability to organize, plan and manage several concurrent initiatives with varying priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to think critically through unique situations and demonstrate good judgment
- High sense of urgency, initiative and self-motivation
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $110,000-$125,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
