As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, you will lead the delivery of LogicMonitor's most advanced and complex technical solutions for our customers. You will be a key member of the Professional Services team, working directly with customers and collaborating closely with our Customer Success Management, Tech Support, and Training teams. In this role, you will take on the most challenging projects, with a strong focus on supporting enterprise customers and driving internal initiatives.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Lead the deployment of large, complex Professional Services engagements.
  • Identify product gaps, feature requests or issues, and communicate them to the Product and Development teams.
  • Deploy custom integrations within and outside the LogicMonitor platform using REST APIs.
  • Share and advocate for technical best practices and lessons learned with peers.
  • Stay updated on new product features, changes, and enhancements by leveraging internal resources and teams.
  • Act as sounding board for Solutions Architect in scoping large, complex customer engagements.
  • Plan and prioritize deliverables using an iterative development approach.
  • Design, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools, automations, or system enhancements.
  • Implement solutions following agile software development methodologies.
  • Work with customer requirements to deliver automation products that support professional services' growth.
  • Analyze business requirements to envision system features and functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation or application issues.
  • Mentor team members on complex scripting concepts, such as Big O notation, multi-threading, cookie management, and data caching.

What You'll Need:
Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications.
    • 3+ years of experience as a developer in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of programming concepts and debugging methods.
    • Solid knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs.
    • Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms.

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. $104,265 - $133,000 USD
