Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship is a paid hybrid (in-person and remote) internship for NYC undergraduates and graduates that helps train the next generation of leaders in Arts & Culture and beyond. The Technology Services (Tech) intern will report to the Technology Business Operations, Senior Manager. The Tech intern will gain experience working with team members rotating across our six IT sectors/verticals (teams): Information Systems, Cyber Security, Information Technology/Infrastructure, Technology Service Desk, Project Management Office, and Office of the CTO (Chief Technology Officer).

What you'll get to do:

  • Skill Building/Skill Application opportunities:
    • Participate in Excel training courses via LinkedIn Learning
      • Two Excel-based mini projects will be assigned to apply the skills learned from the trainings
    • Create three technology or professional development-related goals to complete before the end of the internship
    • Lincoln Center Performing Arts ("LCPA) Tech Event support, project support, and general support with the Service Desk Team
    • Contribute to infrastructure-related projects with the Information Technology/Infrastructure team
    • Contribute to cyber security initiatives and projects with the Cyber Security team.
    • Learn about Project management and opportunities to project manage small projects with the Project Management Office.
    • Learn about and contribute to our finances, contracts, and other essential business operations with the Office of the CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
    • Join team weekly and monthly meetings. Attend daily and weekly1:1's with your manager
    • Work with information systems teams to maintain & update Saas (Software as a service) landscape.


  • Tech Communications:
    • Participate in drafting, copy editing, design, short form content.
    • Creative Communications consisting of finding fun and engaging ways to inform the rest of the organization on quick technology tips, overviews of projects the department is working on, and learning more about who is on the team. This will include helping to develop our Intranet website. Our Intranet website is our internal front page of the Technology Services department that our employees can access.
    • Technical writing: FAQs, policies, guidelines, SOP (standard operating procedures), and writing knowledge base article.

We are looking for interns who are:

  • A rising college junior, or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater New York region
  • Available 25 hours per week from June 2025 - August 2025, with at least 2 in-person days a week
  • Interested in Technology functions and opportunities within their respective major/studies.
  • We're open to interns across all majors including English, creative writing, marketing and audio/video (AV)
  • Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Organized and able to work independently and in a team
  • Looking to work in a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Supporters of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
