Lincoln Center Fellowship Overview:
The Lincoln Center Leadership Fellows Program (LCLF) is a prestigious, highly selective board readiness program for private sector leaders who are interested in making an impact by becoming a trustee of an arts organization. The goal of the program is to provide Fellows professional and personal development during the 18-month fellowship to prepare them to be elected trustees of various Lincoln Center resident organizations. This prestigious fellowship engages participants through thoughtfully curated learning sessions on cultural nonprofit management and governance, artistic programming, audience cultivation, fundraising and innovation, and by providing access to performances, events, and social networking opportunities. Fellows hear from leading Trustees and top executives across sectors in NYC, Arts philanthropists and Lincoln Center Leadership who offer their real-world perspective as fiduciaries of Lincoln Center's resident organizations. Fellows are encouraged to engage in an exchange of ideas and insights that help take the Lincoln Center campus to new heights. Each Fellows class represents a diversity of professional experiences, artistic interests and backgrounds, in alignment with Lincoln Center's commitment to inclusive excellence at every level.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Housed in the Advancement and Innovation department of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Senior Program Manager (PM) will report directly to the SVP, Advancement and Innovation who oversees the Fellowship. Alongside the SVP, the PM will support the growth and stewardship of this innovative program. Given the nature of this role, the ideal candidate must possess strong project & time management abilities, and demonstrate ease & effectiveness in managing relationships across all levels of seniority. The PM will help drive project success towards budget and impact targets.
What you'll get to do here:
- Drive the development of a learning and network-building plan that exposes Fellows to the business of nonprofit management, including strategy; financial planning and analysis; fundraising and development; marketing; and audience access.
- Research and identify potential Fellowship candidates utilizing prospect research databases, networking, etc.
- Coordinate start-to-end logistics and planning for events and networking opportunities for Fellows
- Collect and analyze key metrics and prepare reports about the status and impact of the program
- Track program budget
- Support proper governance, with respect to the nomination and selection of Fellows, and board placement, among other actions.
- Support the development of the Fellowship's alumni network.
- Engage with Fellows to understand and support their individual interests and desired outcomes.
- Optimize the value of the program for resident organizations by understanding each organization's goals and strategy.
- Fulfill requests to access Fellowship benefits and access
- Special research projects as requested
You'll be a fit if you bring:
- 5-7 years of professional work experience in roles focusing on fundraising, curating professional convenings or talent development
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong prioritization instincts
- Excellent judgment, integrity and intellectual curiosity
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated outstanding relationship management skills
- Excellent people skills, collaborative and relationship-building approach with internal and external partners at varying levels of executive experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm for and flexibility to attend scheduled events, including evening performances
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based research software
- Proficiency with CRM databases (preferably Tessitura)
- Experience utilizing prospect research vendor databases is a nice to have (including iWave, Lexis Nexis, RelSci, and Wealth-X for qualifications, relationship maps, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A lover of learning, community, and the arts
